Gayathri Arun and daughter Kallu try their hand at organic farming

With the country in lockdown, the public and celebrities are exploring new ways to engage themselves. Actress Gayathri Arun and her daughter Kalyani has turned to organic farming in their home in Cherthala.
Gayathri took to her social networking page to share a video of her for eight-year-old daughter Kalyani trying her hand at farming. Talking about her daughter’s new passion, she says, “We have been trying to find creative ways to spend the lockdown.So, we took to gardening and organic farming. I wanted Kallu to engage in something useful, rather than just playing all the time. She loves it and has planted some ladies’ fingers. I think it is a great way for children to spend their time, rather than being caught up with video games and TV. This is also good for her mind and body, and makes her content in having grown her own vegetables,” adds Gayathri.
